Chris Harvey Manager

I joined Majestic Totnes in August 2018 having worked in the hospitality industry for the past 12 years. I joined as a Trainee Manager, Assistant Manager and have been recently promoted to Store Manager . I live on the edge of South Dartmoor with my wife and two young daughters. We have recently finished a barn conversion where we converted an old pig barn into a lovely new cosy home. My favourite wines would be a juicy, smooth full-bodied red from Puglia or an off-dry Riesling from Alsace.

David Russell Wine Chauffeur

An ex-photocopier engineer and avid QPR fan that has lived in Germany and Hong Kong before. Enjoys a cask drawn Bass and drop of Beaujolais!

Steve Wine Chauffeur

Interesting facts about Steve: Climbed Everest twice, an expert in survival being an ex-Marine and has even eaten Puffin before!

Dominika Assistant Manager

Hi! I'm Dominika, the resident Totnesian (Well originally Slovakia of course!) and like Chris, I also have a background in hospitality (the Seahorse & Southsands to name a couple) I absolutely love making recommendations and looking after our lovely customers when they visit. My personal interests include nutrition and Bio Dance, and I really enjoy good, local cuisine.

I was trying to buy some wine from you but found your website impossible to master. I am a long term customer of Majestic (Maidenhead branch, mainly) but this the first, and probably last, time I try to shop on line. WHERE IS YOUR STOCK LIST TO BE FOUND!

Our next tasting event is a collaboration with the amazing Cheese Queens on Friday 26th January from 6pm until 8pm. Tickets are limited and are available to purchase instore, on the cheese queens website or at Country Cheeses Totnes for £35 per person. seems like the perfect cheesy Christmas gift idea!

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Carlos for being so helpful in making some great choices of wine. He wasn’t pushy or arrogant like some wine “experts” can be. He helped me choose some great value wine without making me feel like I had to spend more money than I needed to. I was put off the totnes store before and used to trek to Exeter but will definitely be back to the totnes store in the future thankyou Carlos

All our stores will not be opening this Monday for the Bank Holiday, and to allow our colleagues to pay their respects.

We’re delighted to announce that Majestic Tasting: Introduction To Wine is back! This 90 minute session is perfect for anyone starting out on their wine journey, or if you’re someone who would just like to know a little bit more. We cover the basic tasting technique, look at what makes wine so varied and unique, and introduce you to some of the key styles of wine from across the world.

Our next Introduction to Wine is at 6pm on Friday 10th June. Tickets are £10 per person, and spaces are limited, so please get in touch if you would like to secure your spot.

I rang you yesterday morning re order I sent you for 6 bottles of Spanish re at6.99 each and 6 of Ned as I never had an acknowledgment. You told me if I had no confirmation by today I would have to reorder. So I have tried to order this morning but prices have changed?
