Joel Assistant Manager

Joel is our assistant manager here at Majestic Cambridge. With over 10 years retail & hospitality experience , Joel fell in love with the topic of wine since starting with Majestic 3 years ago. He cant get enough of anything with bubbles in it so is the man for anything Champagne or Sparkling Wine! If you also like White Burgundy or anything a little different, Joel will point you in the right direction!

Fred Sales Assistant

Fred is the newest member of the team at Majestic Cambridge. He joins us with a real passion for beer and ale to complement his burgeoning interest in wine. Be it in the van or on the shop floor, Fred is only to happy to provide friendly service and advice.

Gary Driver

Gary is our man in the van for three days a week here at Majestic Cambridge. He will make sure your wine gets to your doorstep no matter what! What would we do without him!?

Hamish Senior Store Manager

Hamish is our store manager. He has enormous wine experience , having lived in the Languedoc and Bordeaux for many years. Hamish has also worked in South Africa, Australia and Germany. He has made wine, picked grapes, imported and distributed wine. Ask him what 1928 Chateau Lafite Rothschild tasted like?

I have been a customer of this store for about 15 years.

Hamish, the manager, runs a great show. He has enhanced the atmosphere of the store fantastically since he arrived after the pandemic and is the epitome of personable and professional. I have friends who know much more about wine (and buy more) than I do, who I have directed to him and all reports are good.

I cannot sum up better than this. My brother-in-law has lived in France for 20 years and I sought advice when buying something for him. He remains impressed that when he visited the store on his own, while staying with us many months later, Hamish knew about him and his wine preferences.

Joel is not only a lovely person but his knowledge and enthusiasm for wine is infectious. His chat and recommendations are a constant pleasure.

There are smaller, newer, more boutique wine shops in Cambridge but this team make this my favourite.

We've been shopping at Majestic in Cambridge for years. Hamish and his team are sonedrful: always friendly, always informative, always ready to answer questions and give us new ideas in our wine-buying. We wouldn't buy our wine anywhere else!!

We will be closed for the Bank Holiday

All our stores will not be opening this Monday for the Bank Holiday, and to allow our colleagues to pay their respects.

We will also not be delivering on this day.

You can still shop or place a collection order until 5pm on Sunday. We will be back open, as usual, on Tuesday 20th September.

Everyone at Majestic wishes to pass their best wishes to the Royal Family at this time.

Amended Customer Notice: we’ll be closing early this Sunday at 1pm.

This is to give our team chance to get to London, alongside our other 200 stores, for our company Summer Social.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

You can still place orders for collection via our Shop Local function on the Majestic website, and if placed before 10am on Sunday collect before we close at 1pm. Alternatively we will process and make ready all orders as soon as possible upon our reopening on Monday as normal at 10am.

Were cheering on the Lionesses here in Cambridge. To add our support we are closing at 4pm today so our colleagues can watch the game too. Make sure you pop down down to the store to fill up on your beers, spirits & some fizz to hopefully celebrate!!
